Surprise to host Celebrity Flag Football Challenge Super Bowl Weekend

SURPRISE, AZ (Nov. 2007) Past and present NFL players gathered in Surprise the day before Super Bowl Sunday for the SPPSPORTS.com 6th annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge- the official Flag Football Game Super Bowl weekend. The event was hosted by The Surprise Community and Recreation Services Department at the Surprise Recreation Campus.

Circle K sponsored the 6th annual Celebrity Flag Football Challenge this year, which was also brought to you in part by Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper and Budweiser. Attendees watched active and retired NFL players go head to head in this fun filled family event. After the game, fans were able to meet their favorite players for autographs.

The Celebrity Flag Football game featured a day-long family sports and entertainment festival. Some of the activities available to attendees included:

· Circle K Celebrity Flag Football Challenge

· 3K Family Fun Run / Walk

· “AZ Going Deep” Flag Football Tournament

· Super Series Youth Baseball Tournament

· “SWOOP to the HOOP” 3 on 3 Youth Basketball Tournament

· USTA Tennis Tournament

· Sports Memorabilia & Trading Card Shows

· Halftime performances by Doug Flutie’s Band – “The Flutie Brothers Band”

· Autograph Opportunities

· Interactive Kid Zone

· Mall Tour

· Live Entertainment

· Fireworks
