The Sports Fans Choice Awards are produced annually by SPP Sports. These programs are similar to "a local ESPY's". The shows are produced in Chicago, LA, Denver, Philly, Detroit and Boston.

Balloting for MVP and Rising Star as well as applications for Jr Achievers and Hometown Heroes take place in the fall - in select local retailers and online at www.sppsport.com. This year will highlight the 20th anniversary for the Chicago Sports Fans Choice, and a 5th anniversary for the Detroit Sports Fans Choice - big celebrations are on tap! The Denver Sports Fans Choice will be very special this year as well, as it will be held in honor of Darrent Williams, the Denver Broncos player that was killed this past New Year's Eve.
